100g Fish or Tuna

200g Potatoes (mashed)

1 Large eggs

1 Onions (chopped)

1 tbsp Ginger & garlic paste

2 Green chilies (chopped)

1(sprig) Curry leaves (chopped)

1(sprig) Pandan leaves

1/2 tsp Cardamoms (powder)

1 tbsp Chili flakes

1 tsp Black pepper powder

3 tbsp Oil

150ml Oil(deep fry)

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Lime juice
Directions
Sri Lankan fish cutlets are one of the most famous snacks. Most of the Sri Lankan people serve this on their every function. It is maybe a birthday party, wedding, evening tea time. It seems that they are very fond of having these fish cutlets. I made it in my way. You also can make it & try to taste it.

If you use fish, how to steamed it:wash & cut fish into small pieces. Put pieces of fish into the pot. |

Add 1 cup of water, ½ tsp of salt & black paper. Fix a lid until cooks. After crushed pieces of fish. |

how I made the filling:Add 3tbsp of oil to the pan & heat in medium flame. |

Add green chilies, onions, curry leaves, pandan leaves & ginger garlic paste stir until golden brown. |

Add crushed fish, black paper, chili flakes, cardamoms & saute for 2 minutes. |

Add mashed potatoes & mix it well for 3 minutes. |

Remove filling from the pan & add lime juice to taste. |

Make into small ball shapes & transfer to the tray or plate. |

Whisk the egg until smooth & spread bread crumbs on the plate. |

Dip fish balls into the beaten egg & coat in bread crumbs & place on the tray or plate. |

How to deep fry the fish cutlets:Add 150ml of oil into the deep-frying pan. |

Let the oil heat. (add few bread crumbs to check the heat of the oil, if it sizzles then the oil is at the correct heat.) |

Put fish balls into the pan & deep fry the fish cutlets until they turn golden brown. (don’t burn the cutlets) |
